  • I like that Oprah has created a lot of interest in older books. One in fact, "Their Eyes Were Watching God" (by Zora Neale Hurston), introduced me to a fabulous black woman writer, who died largely unappreciated, and has since been rediscovered mainly due to Oprah. I sure am glad I read that one!

  • That's very interesting; what exactly is a "sponsor" of a ship, and what are the responsibilities.  How are they appointed?  I have never heard of a ship having a sponsor, and I am very curious about why I never learned or heard about it before.  It would have been nice to see it …
